Six people from Christ the King went to Washington DC for an historic March for Life--the first one to have a president address the marchers live! Fr. Reidy and Brianna Rawlston went on the diocesan buses while Mary Beth and Andrew Thomas and Kris and Aaron Correira drove themselves.
Around 70 people heard James Driscoll, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Catholic Conference and Marianne Luthin, Director of the Pro-Life Office of the Archdiocese of Boston explain how parishioners can mobilize and let their voices be heard in opposition to this proposed abortion expansion known as the ROE act.
In light of the serious predictions for a severe snowstorm and icy conditions from Saturday into Sunday we have made the decision to CANCEL all MORNING and EVENING Religious Education classes for this Sunday, January 20th. All classes will resume on Sunday, January 27th.
Our organist, Dr. Jonathan Bezdegian will be giving an organ concert with two of his colleagues, Lorraine Mihaliak (Holy Cross Organ Scholar '19), and Wesley Hall (Director of Music at First Baptist Church). The concert will include compositions by Louis Vierne, J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, and Jean Langlais. Free admission and handicap accessible. Reception to follow.
