As a parish community, we are committed to a stewardship which is founded on the realization that everything we have is a gift from God. God gives us the gift of life; he gives us each day with its many wonderful possibilities; he gives us the gift of faith; he gives us our talents and abilities. All that we have is a gift from God.
Once we accept that God is the giver of all gifts, and that we hold them not absolutely, but as his stewards, then we act with God in using our gifts. When we take on the mentality of stewardship, our lives change; our parish changes. We offer our gifts because we need to make a return to the Lord for all that he has given us. We actively seek out opportunities to share our talents and skills.
Our Christ the King parish community invites you to discover the joys of stewardship through sharing, giving, volunteering, and belonging. Together may we discover our God-given gifts [riches] and find more and more ways to use them to serve the needs of others.
