The Mustard Seed Ministry is named for the Catholic Worker house and soup kitchen called the Mustard Seed. The purpose of this ministry is to help feed nourishing food to the hungry in our community.
On the last Wednesday of every month, parish volunteers gather at the Christ the King Church kitchen to prepare meals to be served to over two hundred and twenty five people from the local community at the Mustard Seed at 93 Piedmont St.
Worcester.
Money for this program comes from private donations and from different parish organizations. Anyone or any group interested in serving food, cooking food, delivering food, or washing pots and pans should contact Margaret Abboud at (508)
753-7614 or at [email protected].
We who are engaged in this ministry are very grateful for all support and invite everyone to join us in this very rewarding and worthwhile experience.
