A Letter from the New Pastor
of Immaculate Conception, Haiti
To Msgr. Sullivan and Christ the King Parish,
May the peace of Christ be with you. I am writing to introduce myself and to send you words of thanks for your financial contribution. I am Reverend Father Wilson Exantus Andre, an Oblate of Mary Immaculate, and the new rector of Immaculate Conception Parish in Les Anglais. I arrived here on August 31st, sent by our bishop, Msgr. Jacques Antoine Coulange.
I want to express my gratitude to you and all your parishioners for your generosity in providing a daily hot meal for the children of Notre Dame de Lourdes School. Some don’t have one at home. Thanks, too, for your collaboration and advice to help the same children. From the bottom of my heart thank you for helping these kids. Your financial contribution and your willingness are so precious. Thank you for your devotion, and your generosity. The numerous services to these children at that school go a long way and show your care for them and their future. They will be grateful for a long time.
I am applying myself to maintain this school as a beacon, as it has always been in the past, precious in the educational landscape of this country, and in the heart of all the children who attended it. Still counting on your generosity this year, I wish you and your parishioners my best wishes along with a warm thanks from the students of the school.
Father Wilson Exantus Andre, OMI
Rector of the Parish
